New Features and Enhancements
- [Security] Zoom 9.1 is made compliant with our designated security standards by addressing all major vulnerabilities flagged by our scanners; this includes code revamps, and upgrading of all third-party softwares as required.
- [Media access] Download of high-res media via Webclient now made possible to facilitate access to the media without requiring a desktop setup.
- [Media access] High-res media download and sharing via S3 now opened to users with READ permission based on customer feedback.
- [Analytics] Purge report generation feature is available for Zoom admins to curate purge activities based on various parameters like time interval and users. It is also possible to customize the report to include any metadata that might be required.
- [Zoom Desktop] Advanced Search panel revamped for better user experience as well as additional functionality.
- [Zoom Desktop] One-click access to the Advanced Search panel now available in the Assets page for better user experience.
- [Zoom Desktop] The Edit Metadata panel can be collapsed to the side once opened, improving context retention and quick, one-click access.
- [Zoom Desktop] Advanced Search results is now similar to other views like the Assets tab and Collection tab, including the support for actions via right-click context menu.

- [Transcoding Media] Support for HEIC/HEIF and HEVC image and video formats added.
- [Analytics] The Folder Details page has richer data, with additional details like the high-res and mid-res file sizes, allowing for more detailed file management and storage insights.
- [Usability] All client side logs – including the hub logs, can now be downloaded via Zoom Desktop, enabling easier access to system logs for troubleshooting and analysis.
- [Collaboration] Users will receive email notifications when project membership is changed (specifically when someone is removed from a project).
- [Usability] A notification email is sent to the sender if the asset share-via-email job fails for any reason.
- [Collections] Guest users now receive a prompt to change their password when accessing the collection URL.
- [Collections] UI layout in the Collections page brought to be on par with the Assets tab in terms of left panel resizing, alignment, scrolling etc.
- [Admin] Archive processing now supports batch configurations so that the checkpointed data can be moved to secondary archive storage more efficiently while still accommodating storage constraints.
- [Metadata] Several enhancements were added to metadata handling for better usability, including the ability to append or replace from the same form and alphanumeric ordering of multiple values while storing and displaying.
- [Search] Enhanced search functionality now supports searching across assets that have undergone namespace modifications.
- [Plugins] The New Project feature has been expanded to include Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
- [Plugins] The New Project feature can now be invoked using a tag in the client configuration properties, synchronizing it with the UI option.
- [API] Several APIs were spruced up and more functionality was added.
