Zoom 8.3.0-RELEASE.127 includes updates for the Linux server, Mac and Windows clients, and carries all the enhancements and fixes from previous releases.

New Features and Enhancements

  • ­­­­An external files browser has been added to the WebClient which allows users to browse S3 buckets
  • Clean up jobs on hi-res / mid-res and image-sequence assets have been updated to better limit the scope of the operation
  • Support for read-only third party mount points has been added
  • The Collections module has been updated to provide a more responsive experience
  • Migration jobs can now create smart-copies when a duplicate file is found
  • The login screen in Zoom Desktop and the WebClient has new ways of displaying branding information
  • Keyboard shortcuts have been extended to the Zoom Creative Cloud plugins
  • Forward and Back buttons have been added to Zoom Desktop in order to improve navigation
  • Additional smart-link and smart-copy functionality has been added to Zoom Desktop
  • Access logs will now store additional data for read-only operations
  • Zoom administrators are now able to suppress notifications to admin users for archive-related operations
  • The archive module has been revamped to carry out more stable and secure transfers
  • Email notifications for several modules have been revised to offer more clarity
