Installing Creative App Plugin

In order to install the Creative App Plugin, you must have Adobe Extensions Manager installed.

The Creative App Plugin for Adobe Creative Cloud will require a manual installation.

Installing Creative App Panel for Adobe Creative Cloud CC2014

  1. Open Adobe Extensions Manager CC located in /Applications/Adobe Extension Manager CC/Adobe Extension Manager CC.app or C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Adobe Extension Manager CC\Adobe Extension Manager CC.exe.
  2. Go to File > Install Extension

  • Navigate to the Zoom plug-ins folder on your computer:
    • OSPath
    Mac/Applications/Evolphin/zoom/Resources/plug-ins/
    WindowsC:\Program Files (x86)\Evolphin\DAM\plug-ins\
  • Select the appropriate installer:
    • VersionPath
    CS6/Applications/Evolphin/zoom/Resources/plug-ins/ZmAdobePlugin.zxp
    CC/Applications/Evolphin/zoom/Resources/plug-ins/ZmAdobeExtensions.zxp
    CC2014/Applications/Evolphin/zoom/Resources/plug-ins/ZmAdobeExtensionsCC2014.zxp
  • Click Accept.
  • Click Install.

    • Installing Creative App Panel for Adobe CC 2015 and Newer Versions

    Adobe has removed support from extension manager. As a result, extensions installed using Extension Manager do not appear in the Adobe apps. So, for installing the Zoom plugin in Adobe CC apps, follow these steps for Windows and Mac respectively:

    Windows

    1. Close Adobe Extension Manager if it is open.
    2. Navigate to Zoom’s plugin installer folder on your machine. As a default, the path is C:\Program Files (x86)\Evolphin\DAM\plug-ins\pluginInstaller.
    3. Double click the AdobePluginInstaller_win.bat file to execute it. A window opens up displaying the installation progress.

    4. Click Yes on the popup alerting about the new installation. The plugin will continue installing. Once the plugin is installed, the status will be displayed.

    5. Press any key to close this dialog.
    6. Open any of the Adobe CC apps. The Evolphin Zoom plugin should appear under Window -> Extensions.Plugin in Photoshop

    Mac

    1. Close Adobe Extension Manager if its open.
    2. Navigate to Zoom’s plugin installer folder on your machine. As a default, the path is /Applications/Evolphin/zoom/Resources/plug-ins/pluginInstaller.
    3. Check whether the default application of AdobePluginInstaller_mac.sh is Terminal.

    4. If the default application is not Terminal, follow the below steps to make it the default application :

      – Right click on AdobePluginInstaller_mac.sh and go to Open With -> Other

      – From Enable drop-down, select All Applications. Select Applications -> Utilities -> Terminal.

      – Check the ‘Always open with’ checkbox.

    5. Click the Add button. Double click on the script to run it.
    6. A terminal window should come up with the plugin installation status.

    7. Open any Adobe CC application. The Evolphin Zoom plugin should appear under Window -> Extensions.
