About the various desktop applications

Zoom Desktop app

This is the desktop app most creatives will start working with. It is designed with a simple UX that covers most of the day-to-day creative workflows such as ingesting files, renaming or moving folders, previewing assets, checking-out versions, and collaborating using review and markup tools.

Adobe CC Plugins

Designed with each Adobe CC creative app in mind, Zoom’s plugins enable you to never leave the Adobe CC app and perform all the major functions from within the creative app itself. You can perform actions like syncing changes, creating new projects from templates, linking with assets, switching proxies, exporting finished projects, and review and commenting on projects.

Asset Browser

This is the advanced version of the Desktop app. Power users and media managers will use this application frequently. It facilitates many advanced operations including bulk metadata editing, search based report generation, digital right management, archive management.
