Sharing Anonymous Collection Links

Zoom Collections may be shared by inviting users via e-mail as well as by sharing a link to the target users. Further, when sharing as links, you could share them directly as anonymous links where users can simply click on a link and access collections without any need for registering themselves within Zoom. For situations where there may be sensitive data being shared, you could choose to secure the links while sharing too.

In this article we show how simple anonymous link sharing works.

Steps for Sharing Collection Links

  • Open the Collection you want to share.

  • Click on the “Share” option at the top right corner of the page.

  • You will see the current members of the Collection, if any as well as the owner of the Collection.

  • Click on the “Invite by Sharing Link” checkbox.
    • You will see a drop-down show up.
  • Notice the highlighted link icon. Click on this to copy the link URL.
    • You can then disseminate this link through any channel like Slack, Skype, E-mail etc. The user receiving the link, can simply open the Collection by clicking on the link.

  • Notice that you may select the “Comment” checkbox to allow anonymous users to add comments to your Collection, if required.
    • The default is to allow only viewing.
