In the initial setup as shown <a title=\"Installing and setting up EZ\" href=\"https:\/\/evolphin.com\/help\/docs\/installing-and-setting-up-ez\/\">here<\/a>, one EZ Admin was registered for the EZ Updater, EZ Updater settings were saved, EZ Client bits were configured and then uploaded on EZ for use by the clients. Let us look at all the features of EZ Updater available to an EZ Admin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"warning\">\n<p>The recommended settings are to have the EZ Updater check for updates every day and install updates automatically.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"warning\">\n<p>Before proceeding, ensure that you have installed and configured EZ Updater and EZ Clients as shown <a href=\"https:\/\/evolphin.com\/help\/guides\/installing-and-setting-up-ez\/\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Zoom Builds<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The <span style=\"background-color: #e8c8c8; font-family: 'trebuchet ms', geneva, sans-serif;\">Zoom Builds<\/span> tab opens the page to show the Zoom builds downloaded on the EZ Updater.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Manage Machines<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The EZ Client machines managed by this EZ Updater are listed under the <span style=\"background-color: #e3e3e3;\">Managed Machines page<\/span>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Open<\/strong> EZ Web portal in a web browser and <strong>log in<\/strong>.<\/li><li><strong>Click<\/strong>&nbsp;<span style=\"font-family: 'trebuchet ms', geneva, sans-serif; background-color: #e8c8c8;\">Managed Machines<\/span> in the top menu bar.&nbsp;<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>This page shows the details of the machines which are managed by this EZ Updater. The EZ Admin can add a machine, edit existing machines, or delete them. By default, the current EZ Updater machine will also be listed here.&nbsp;If you click on any row, the details for that machine, like&nbsp;installation type&nbsp;(Zoom Server\/ Zoom Client),&nbsp;version, Zoom installation path&nbsp;and&nbsp;last Zoom updated time, are shown below the machines list.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If an EZ Client machine is not on this list, it is automatically added anytime it checks for update (manually or as per schedule).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/evolphin.com\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/img_591705bc76311.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-6172\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>These options are available on the <span style=\"background-color: #e3e3e3;\">Managed Machines page<\/span>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Add Machine: Adding a machine is not available for now.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Edit Machine Details: The EZ Admin may change the machine details by clicking <span style=\"background-color: #e8c8c8; font-family: 'trebuchet ms', geneva, sans-serif;\">Edit<\/span>. If the IP address or hostname are modified, the other details will be fetched again. The EZ Admin may choose to edit the name of the Managed machine. This name is only for identification by the EZ Updater.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">View Activities<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>All activities associated with EZ may be tracked on the <span style=\"background-color: #e3e3e3;\">Activities page<\/span>. This is a log of all the activities happening within the EZ Updater on this machine. A brief&nbsp;description of the activity,&nbsp;start time,&nbsp;last updated time&nbsp;of activity,&nbsp;address&nbsp;from which the request originated,&nbsp;steps executed&nbsp;during the activity and&nbsp;progress (if available) as well as the&nbsp;Activity ID are shown&nbsp;here.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/evolphin.com\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/img_591705e680f69.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-6174\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">View Logs<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Logs are maintained by all EZ machines. These logs are stored in [EvolphinZoomUpdaterData]\\logs folder. The logs may also be viewed in the EZ Web portal. By default, the logs view displays only the last 1Mb of logs and keeps appending it at the end as soon as new log entries&nbsp;are generated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Open<\/strong> EZ Web portal in a web browser and <strong>log in<\/strong>.<\/li><li><strong>Click<\/strong>&nbsp;<span style=\"background-color: #e8c8c8; font-family: 'trebuchet ms', geneva, sans-serif;\">Logs<\/span> in the top menu bar.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/evolphin.com\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/img_591705f9ab6eb.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-6175\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>These options are available on the <span style=\"background-color: #e3e3e3;\">Logs page<\/span>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Full logs:&nbsp;<strong>Click<\/strong> <span style=\"background-color: #e8c8c8; font-family: 'trebuchet ms', geneva, sans-serif;\">Full logs<\/span> to display the logs in its entirety. The size of logs being skipped is also displayed next to it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Download Full Logs:&nbsp;<strong>Click<\/strong> <span style=\"background-color: #e8c8c8; font-family: 'trebuchet ms', geneva, sans-serif;\">Download Full Logs<\/span> to download all logs as a zip file.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Log level:&nbsp;<strong>Select<\/strong>&nbsp;the desired log level to display. <span class=\"keyword\">ALL<\/span> will display complete logs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Upload EZ<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The <span style=\"background-color: #e3e3e3;\">Upload EZ page<\/span> is used to upload EZ Client bits that EZ Clients can install. These builds are set up during the first-time configuration of EZ. If you need to set up additional EZ Clients or know more about each option on the Upload EZ page, see in detail below.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">EZ Settings<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The <span style=\"background-color: #e3e3e3;\">Settings page<\/span>&nbsp;is used to configure the EZ Updater. These options are configured while setting up EZ and do not need to be changed later. In case you need to update any settings later, then you need to login to the EZ Web Portal as an EZ Admin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><a id=\"registeruser\"><\/a>Register User<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>To register a new EZ Admin user, open the EZ Web Admin portal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Reset password<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>To reset the password:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Open<\/strong> EZ Web portal in any web browser.<\/li><li><strong>Click<\/strong>&nbsp;<span style=\"background-color: #e8c8c8; font-family: 'trebuchet ms', geneva, sans-serif;\">Reset Password<\/span>&nbsp;on the <span style=\"background-color: #e3e3e3;\">Login page<\/span>.<\/li><li><strong>Enter<\/strong> username.<\/li><li><strong>Enter<\/strong> a new password and confirm it.<\/li><li><strong>Enter<\/strong> the master password. Check for the master password from <code class=\"\">ez-updater.xml<\/code>.
