This is useful, for example, when we have to set up Hot Folders to run on headless terminals.<\/p>\n<div class=\"warning\">\n<p>Only superadmin users can perform remote Hot Folder configurations. Zoom Client Proxy service must be running on the server where the hot folders need to execute.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>To setup hot folder from Zoom Web Management Console<\/h3>\n<ol>\n<li>Make sure Zoom Client Proxy\u00a0process is running on the\u00a0<code class=\"\">{zoom-client-proxy-host}<\/code> machine. Please review articles on how to configure client proxy first:\n<ul>\n<li><em>Windows Server<\/em>: Zoom Client Proxy process should be installed and running by default. This can be verified by locating the &#8220;Z&#8221; icon on the system status bar.<\/li>\n<li><em>Linux Server<\/em>: By default, the Zoom Client Proxy service is not installed. Please see instructions\u00a0to set up systems services including <code class=\"\">zmclientproxy<\/code> <a href=\"\/docs\/v5\/server\/installation\/\">here<\/a> and how to stop\/start the service <a href=\"\/docs\/v5\/server\/starting-and-stopping-zoom-services\/#linux-cproxy\">here<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>On the <code class=\"\">sidebar<\/code> Admin Menu, <span class=\"command\">click<\/span> <span class=\"keyword\">Hot Folder settings<\/span> node.<\/li>\n<li>Enter the clientproxy&#8217;s URL where the hot folder needs to be set up.\n<div class=\"note\">Example: http:\/\/{zoom-client-proxy-host}:7770<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>On pressing enter, if there are any credentials and hot folders already present for the server at the client, it will be populated below.<\/li>\n<li>When there are no credentials, enter the credentials and <span class=\"command\">click<\/span> on Validate.<\/li>\n<li>Once validated, you can <span class=\"keyword\">Add<\/span>, <span class=\"keyword\">Update<\/span>, <span class=\"keyword\">Delete<\/span> hot folders.\n<div class=\"note\">The screenshot below shows &#8220;http:\/\/localhost:7770&#8221;, depending on where your Zoom Client Proxy host is located, the URL will vary.<\/div>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/evolphin.com\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/10\/hf-ui.png\"><br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-5405\" src=\"https:\/\/evolphin.com\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/10\/hf-ui.png\" alt=\"hf-ui\" width=\"1084\" height=\"788\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h4>Add new Hot folder<\/h4>\n<ol>\n<li>In the sidebar Admin Menu, click Hot Folder settings node.<\/li>\n<li>After validating credentials, Click on Add.<\/li>\n<li>A hot folder settings dialog will popup.<\/li>\n<li>Enter the settings and click Save.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/evolphin.com\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/10\/hf-add-update.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-5267\" src=\"https:\/\/evolphin.com\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/10\/hf-add-update.png\" alt=\"hf-add-update\" width=\"1204\" height=\"549\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div class=\"warning\">\n<p>The hot folder settings are saved in the $HOME\/.zm\/settings\/hot_folder\/ folder on the machine where the Zoom Client Proxy is running.
