So in pre 5.5 deployments which had\u00a0set up hot folders with Zoom server aliases, the users will now have to either delete the old hot folder settings and re-create or they need to manually edit their hot folder configuration files to replace the alias with the actual server URLs.<\/p>\n<div class=\"note\">For information on how to\u00a0 configure hot folders, see <a href=\"https:\/\/evolphin.com\/help\/docs\/configuring-hot-folders-5-3-above\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Configuring Hot Folders<\/a><\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Resolution<\/h3>\n<div class=\"note\">For information on how to start and stop clientproxy for a Windows and Mac client, see <a href=\"https:\/\/evolphin.com\/help\/faq-answers\/desktop-apps\/how-do-i-restart-zoom-client-proxy\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Starting Stopping Client Proxy on Windows and Mac<\/a><\/div>\n<div class=\"note\">For information on how to start and stop clientproxy for a linux client, see <a href=\"https:\/\/evolphin.com\/help\/docs\/v5\/server\/starting-and-stopping-zoom-services\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Starting Stopping Client Proxy on Windows and Mac<\/a><\/div>\n<h4>Option 1: Delete and Start Over with new Hot Folder<\/h4>\n<p>To make sure all hot folders configured prior to Z<span class=\"keyword\">oom 5.5<\/span> are correctly deleted, follow these steps:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Stop <span class=\"keyword\">clientproxy<\/span> service.<\/li>\n<li>Delete the\u00a0 hot folder xml present inside user&#8217;s home directory\u00a0<code class=\"\">.zm\/settings\/hot_folder<\/code><\/li>\n<li>Restart the clientproxy service<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4>Option 2: Edit and Fix Existing Hot Folder<\/h4>\n<p>To make sure all hot folders configured prior to <span class=\"keyword\">zoom 5.5<\/span> are correctly loaded, follow these steps:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Stop <span class=\"keyword\">clientproxy<\/span> service.<\/li>\n<li>Edit the hot folder xml present inside user&#8217;s home directory<code class=\"\">.zm\/settings\/hot_folder\/<\/code>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Search the tag <span class=\"keyword\">&lt;zoomServer&gt;<\/span>. For every zoom server present there will be an attribute tag <span class=\"keyword\">&lt;url&gt;<\/span> which stores the zoom server url. See the screenshot below<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/evolphin.com\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/Hot_folder_with_alias.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-3757 \" src=\"https:\/\/evolphin.com\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/Hot_folder_with_alias.png\" alt=\"Hot folder with alias\" width=\"809\" height=\"344\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<div class=\"example\">Here url &#8220;zoomserver&#8221; is an alias to zoom server url &#8220;http:\/\/zoomo:8880&#8221;<\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>If the url is an <span class=\"keyword\">alias<\/span>, change it to proper zoom server url that you have specified in the server settings dialog.
