In certain\u00a0Zoom client installations, we have seen that on upgrade the configuration settings on the client side like the default Zoom server URL etc. are not remembered.
\nIf this happens, try the following:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Open\u00a0{user’s home folder}\/.zm\/zoom.properties in some text editor like notepad.<\/li>\n
  2. Comment all the entries related to server URL\u00a0by adding double slash at the beginning of line like this:
    \n#<\/strong>DEF_REPO_ALIAS=localhost
    \n#<\/strong>DEF_ZOOM_REPO=zoom server-fd302ff2de3dc266188e645cc3015561bfb7dfb4
    \n#<\/strong>DEF_ZOOM_SERVER=http\\:\/\/localhost\\:6660<\/p>\n
    Use “#” to comment a line in zoom.properties file.<\/div>\n<\/li>\n
  3. Save the zoom.properties file.<\/li>\n
  4. Restart the\u00a0Zoom Client Proxy\u00a0using the menu option in the Z-Icon.<\/li>\n
  5. Open Settings dialog from Z-Icon.<\/li>\n
  6. Click on Server\/WC Settings tab; If it does not show correct server URL\u00a0\/ alias, then click on add button and\u00a0re-add the entry.<\/li>\n
  7. Now try to login. If you see the default URL show up, you can skip the following steps and proceed with your task.<\/li>\n
  8. If it still does not show the default URL, then backup your zoom.properties file under the {user’s home folder}\/.zm\/ folder and then remove it from this location.<\/li>\n
  9. Restart the Client Proxy from Z menu.<\/li>\n
  10. Re-add your configurations from the Settings dialog once again. (Use your backup zoom.properties file to make sure that you don’t miss any of your original settings).<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
