This user guide illustrates and explains how to install and use the Evolphin Zoom plug-in for Maxon CINEMA 4D.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Cinema 4d plugin setup for batch renderer<\/h2>\n\n\n<div data-post-id=\"3369\" class=\"insert-page insert-page-3369 \">\n<p>Evolphin Zoom plugin ships with an import service for the&nbsp;Maxon Cinema 4D batch rendered files. This can be done by the <span class=\"keyword\">Render and Import<\/span> button in the Evolphin Zoom plugin panel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><a href=\"https:\/\/evolphin.com\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/Render_import_button.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/evolphin.com\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/Render_import_button.jpg\" alt=\"Render_import_button\" class=\"wp-image-3370\"\/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Batch render Settings<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><span class=\"command\">Make sure<\/span> that the <span class=\"keyword\">default server<\/span> is set in Z-settings-&gt; Server\/WC Settings.<br><a href=\"https:\/\/evolphin.com\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/Z-Settings_default_server.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-3375\" src=\"https:\/\/evolphin.com\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/Z-Settings_default_server-300x225.png\" alt=\"Z-Settings_default_server\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\"><\/a><\/li><li>Before launching Render and Import,&nbsp;<span class=\"command\">ensure<\/span> the <span class=\"keyword\">CINEMA 4D (C4D) Batch Render settings<\/span> are specified in the&nbsp;<span class=\"keyword\">Zoom Settings panel<\/span> (launched from the desktop via the Z icon context menu):<br><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-3371 \" src=\"https:\/\/evolphin.com\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/Batch_Render_Settings.jpg\" alt=\"Batch_Render_Settings\" width=\"644\" height=\"260\"><br><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-table\"><table><thead><tr><th><strong>Field<\/strong><\/th><th>Description<\/th><\/tr><\/thead><tbody><tr><td>Poll Interval<\/td><td>This specifies how frequently the Zoom plugin will poll the CINEMA4D batch render queue<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>Import Source<\/td><td>This is the folder where C4D renders the image sequences. This should match the output path in the Cinema 4D render queue<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>Import Destination<\/td><td>Import destination points to the project root folder or sub-folder under which rendered files\u00a0will be saved automatically.<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>Zoom Server<\/td><td>This is automatically selected when you browse the import destination on the Zoom\u00a0repository<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<li>If <span class=\"keyword\">mandatory metadata<\/span> is enabled in the server, <span class=\"command\">ensure<\/span> that a&nbsp;<span class=\"keyword\">default Metadata Preset<\/span> saved. Click <a href=\"https:\/\/evolphin.com\/help\/?p=3303\">here<\/a>&nbsp;to know&nbsp;how to save default Metadata Preset.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If you make any change in any of the above settings,&nbsp;<span class=\"command\">close<\/span> the plugin panel and <span class=\"command\">reload<\/span> it for the changes to refresh. For reloading the plugin panel, click on<span class=\"keyword\"> Plugins -&gt; Reload Python Plugins<\/span> in Cinema 4D and then re-open the plugin panel from the the Plugins menu.<br><a href=\"https:\/\/evolphin.com\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/Reload_plugin.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-3379 \" src=\"https:\/\/evolphin.com\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/Reload_plugin.png\" alt=\"Reload_plugin\" width=\"1064\" height=\"280\"><\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span class=\"command\">Set up<\/span> the <span class=\"keyword\">C4D batch render queue<\/span> by adding items to the <span class=\"keyword\">render queue<\/span> along with output image prefix.&nbsp;<span class=\"keyword\">Output image prefix should match the c4d file name.<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span class=\"command\">Click&nbsp;<\/span><span class=\"keyword\">Render and Import&nbsp;<\/span>button in the plugin panel to start the rendering.&nbsp;<span class=\"command\">Do not use<\/span> the \u201cStart Rendering\u201d option in the Render Queue&nbsp;directly.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Once rendering is finished, Zoom will trigger an import, and you will see the import dialog pop up and&nbsp;execute automatically. Once import is finished, notifications will pop up in the system tray or Mac menu&nbsp;bar.<br><a href=\"https:\/\/evolphin.com\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/Render_import_progress.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-3386 \" src=\"https:\/\/evolphin.com\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/Render_import_progress.png\" alt=\"Render_import_progress\" width=\"635\" height=\"242\"><\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Note:<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>During import, if an output file does not exists, it will cause the entire batch of import to be aborted, as&nbsp;the C4D plug-in ensures the entire batch of rendered items are imported all at once.<\/li><li>Zoom will create a sub-folder based on the C4D file name. The image sequences being rendered will show&nbsp;up under a sub-folder within the C4D folder.<a href=\"https:\/\/evolphin.com\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/Batch-render-VAB.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-3390 \" src=\"https:\/\/evolphin.com\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/Batch-render-VAB-1024x595.png\" alt=\"Batch render VAB\" width=\"647\" height=\"376\"><\/a><\/li><\/ul>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Cinema 4d plugin setup for team renderer<\/h2>\n\n\n<div data-post-id=\"3397\" class=\"insert-page insert-page-3397 \">\n<p><strong>Zoom Team Render Import Queue<\/strong><br>Zoom ships with an automatic import service for Maxon CINEMA 4D Team Server renderer. The service starts automatically when a CINEMA 4D Team Server job is added to the Zoom import queue manager. There is no plug-in to install. This Zoom service monitors the CINEMA 4D Team render Server queue by polling at a configured time interval.<br><strong><b>Configuring the Cinema 4D Team Render Settings in the Z-&gt;Settings panel<\/b><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><span class=\"command\">Make sure<\/span> that the <span class=\"keyword\">default server<\/span> is set in Z-settings-&gt; Server\/WC Settings.<br><a href=\"https:\/\/evolphin.com\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/Z-Settings_default_server.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-3375 \" src=\"https:\/\/evolphin.com\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/Z-Settings_default_server.png\" alt=\"Z-Settings_default_server\" width=\"555\" height=\"416\"><\/a><\/li><li>If <span class=\"keyword\">mandatory metadata<\/span> is enabled in the server, <span class=\"command\">ensure<\/span> that a&nbsp;<span class=\"keyword\">default Metadata Preset<\/span> saved. Import source should be the same as the Repository Path specified in the team render server preferences.<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>Poll Interval<\/td><td>Specifies how frequently does the Zoom import queue manager polls CINEMA4D Team Render Server queue for completion of the registered jobs.<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>Import Destination<\/td><td>Points to the project root folder or sub-folder under which the rendered files will be saved automatically.<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>Zoom Server<\/td><td>This is automatically selected when you browse the import destination on the Zoom repository.<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><a href=\"https:\/\/evolphin.com\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/Team_Render_Server_Path.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/evolphin.com\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/Team_Render_Server_Path.png\" alt=\"Team_Render_Server_Path\" class=\"wp-image-3410\"\/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<li><span class=\"keyword\">Validate<\/span> button validates all the fields like whether cinema 4D server is running, whether connection with the Cinema 4D server is possible, whether username or password are correct, whether a required field is empty and gives alerts as required.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><b>Manage Zoom Import Queue<\/b><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><span class=\"command\">Set up<\/span> the C4D Team Render Queue by adding jobs to the render queue by logging into the Cinema 4D Team Render Server. Output image sequence prefix should match the<span class=\"keyword\"> C4D file name<\/span> uploaded to the job. Zoom Team Render Queue Manager will look for all the C4D files in the results folder of the job. It will use the file-name prefix of the C4D files to locate image sequences in the results folder.<\/li><li>You can navigate to <span class=\"keyword\">Zoom Import Queue Manager<\/span> by clicking <span class=\"keyword\">Yes<\/span> on the successful validation alert or by clicking the <span class=\"keyword\">Manage Import Queue<\/span> button. You can also open the Zoom Import Queue Manager by opening the following URL\u00a0in your web browser:\u00a0http:\/\/127.0.0.1:7770\/webmin\/jsp\/client\/c4d-netrender\/jobs.jsp<br><a href=\"https:\/\/evolphin.com\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/Zoom_Import_Queue_Manager.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"637\" height=\"330\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-3419 \" src=\"https:\/\/evolphin.com\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/Zoom_Import_Queue_Manager.png\" alt=\"Zoom_Import_Queue_Manager\"><\/a><\/li><li>Click on<span class=\"keyword\"> plus (+) icon<\/span> to add a Team Render job for monitoring. This will add the job to Zoom import queue. Zoom will from then on keep polling the Team Render Server to check if the job has finished rendering.<br><a href=\"https:\/\/evolphin.com\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/Job_queued.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"637\" height=\"132\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-3420 \" src=\"https:\/\/evolphin.com\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/Job_queued.png\" alt=\"Job_queued\"><\/a><\/li><li>If you want to remove a job before it starts importing, <span class=\"command\">click<\/span> on the <span class=\"keyword\">red cross (x) button<\/span>. The job will no longer be monitored by Zoom for completion.<\/li><li>If there is an error during import, an <span class=\"keyword\">alert icon<\/span> will show up next to the job status. <span class=\"command\">Mouse over<\/span> the icon, to see the detailed error message.<br><a href=\"https:\/\/evolphin.com\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/Job_Failed_import.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"640\" height=\"130\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-3421 \" src=\"https:\/\/evolphin.com\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/Job_Failed_import.png\" alt=\"Job_Failed_import\"><\/a><\/li><li>Once the rendering is finished, Zoom will trigger an import, and you will see the import dialog popup execute automatically. Once the import is finished, notifications will pop up in the system tray or Mac menu bar.<a href=\"https:\/\/evolphin.com\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/Job_imported.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"640\" height=\"124\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-3422 \" src=\"https:\/\/evolphin.com\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/Job_imported.png\" alt=\"Job_imported\"><\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/evolphin.com\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/Render_import_progress.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"643\" height=\"245\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-3386 \" src=\"https:\/\/evolphin.com\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/Render_import_progress.png\" alt=\"Render_import_progress\"><\/a><\/li><li>As soon as the Zoom import queue manager detects there are no jobs in the queue, it will automatically stop polling the Team render server and deactivate the monitoring thread from consuming any system resources.<\/li><li>During an import, if an output file does not exist, it will cause the entire batch of import to be aborted as the C4D plug-in ensures the entire batch of rendered items is imported at once.<\/li><li>Zoom will create a subfolder based on the C4D file name.
