There is no need to install Zoom Client on a computer that already has Zoom Server. Zoom Client is automatically installed with the Zoom Server.<\/div>\n\n\n\n

The following instructions describe the steps to install Evolphin Zoom Client on a Windows computer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Installing Zoom<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
  1. Extract the downloaded *.zip<\/span> file.<\/li>
  2. Run<\/span> setup.exe<\/span> from the extracted files.<\/li>
  3. Follow<\/span> the instructions in the installation wizard.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    If Using Adobe Creative Cloud<\/h3>\n\n\n\n\n\n

    It is a good practice to set the default Zoom Server on your Zoom Client machine. This allows your Zoom Client to instantly connect with that server without any delay in asking for a URL.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    These settings are valid for Zoom 7.2 and below. Follow here<\/a> for Zoom 7.3 and above.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Follow these steps to set a default Zoom Server on your Zoom Client machine:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    1. For a Mac<\/span> machine, left-click<\/strong> the \"\" icon in the menu bar<\/span>. For a Windows<\/span> machine, right-click<\/span> on the \"\" icon in the system tray<\/span>.<\/li>
    2. Select<\/strong> Settings from the Z-menu.<\/span>

    3. Select<\/strong> Server\/WC Settings from the sidebar in the Settings window.<\/span>

    4. Click<\/strong><\/span> Add<\/span>.

    5. Set<\/strong><\/span> the URL to your Zoom Server in the Server<\/span> box.
      Ex. http:\/\/<MyZoomServer>:8880<\/div> <\/div>
      Port 8880 is typically the port used by the Zoom Client to connect to the Zoom Server.<\/div> <\/div> <\/li>
    6. Under Alias<\/span>, set<\/strong><\/span> an alias name for the Zoom Server.
      Ex. Server12<\/div> <\/div>
      The alias can be used in the Zoom interface as a replacement for the Server URL. Make sure the server alias does not contain any whitespace characters.<\/div> <\/div> <\/li>
    7. Click<\/strong><\/span> Add<\/span>.

    8. If prompted, log into<\/strong><\/span> the Zoom Server using your Zoom credentials<\/span>.<\/li>
    9. Select<\/strong><\/span> your newly created Zoom Server in the Server and Working Copy Settings<\/span> list.<\/li>
    10. Click<\/strong><\/span> Make Default<\/span>.

    11. Click<\/strong> OK<\/span> when informed about the auto-sync of client properties.<\/li>
    12. To make sure that your Zoom Client always connects to the same default Zoom Server, check<\/strong><\/span> Always Use Default<\/span>. <\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n
