Install X11<\/h4>\n\n\n\n
In order for Zoom to generate thumbnail previews of PDF, EPS, PostScript, or, TXT documents, Zoom runs the Ghostscript (gs) utility packaged with Zoom. Ghostscript requires X11 to be installed on the Mac. Starting from Mac OS X 10.7, Apple no longer ships Mac OS with X11 pre-installed. In order to install it, please download<\/span> and install<\/span> it from here<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Alternatively, whenever a Zoom Check-in requires such thumbnail previews, Mac OS X will prompt you to install X11, as it is required by “gs”. You can then follow the prompts to complete this installation. However, if this takes too long, the previews may fail for that batch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Install Java 6 (only for Zoom 5.3 or below)<\/h4>\n\n\n\n
In order to properly install Zoom 5.3 or below on a Mac, you must have Java 6 installed on your computer. Java 6 and Java 7 or 8 can co-exist on the same machine. Depending on whether you already have Java 7\/8 installed determines the proper procedure for installation. In Mac OS X 10.7, Apple changed their policy of bundling Java with the operating system. Apple Java is still available from Apple and is required for running Zoom 5.3-.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
- Open<\/span> Terminal.app<\/span> in \/Applications\/Utilities\/Terminal.app<\/em><\/span><\/a><\/li>
- Type<\/span> in:

Install Zoom<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
- Double-click<\/span> the *.dmg<\/span> Zoom Client installer disk image.<\/li>
- In the disk image, double-click<\/span> zoom-client-mac32.pkg<\/span>.<\/li>
- Follow<\/span> the installation wizard instructions.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

\nAdobe has removed support from extension manager. As a result, extensions installed using Extension Manager do not appear in the Adobe apps. So, for installing the Zoom plugin in Adobe CC apps, follow these steps for Windows and Mac respectively:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

- Double click<\/span> the AdobePluginInstaller_win.bat<\/span> file to execute it. A window opens up displaying the installation progress.\n
