Zoom Server is certified to run on Windows Server 2012 and 2016. The following instructions describe how to perform a basic installation of Zoom Server on these systems. This guide assumes that Windows Server has already been installed and configured.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

*Usually if SSL ports are enabled, their non-SSL counterpart ports can be disabled or blocked by the firewalls.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Desktop access includes Asset Browser, Repository Browser, Zoom plugins, Client Proxy, and EZ client installer. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Web access includes Web Asset Browser and Web Client.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

  1. In the Start<\/span> menu, navigate<\/span> to Start > Administrative Tools > Windows<\/em> Firewall with Advanced Security<\/em><\/span>.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

          4. Select<\/strong> Allow the connection<\/em>.<\/li>
          5. Click<\/strong> Next<\/em>.<\/li>
          6. Select<\/strong> Domain, Private, and Public<\/em>.<\/li>
          7. Click<\/strong> Next<\/em>.<\/li>
          8. In the Name<\/em> field, name<\/strong> the rule Zoom<\/em>.<\/li>
          9. Click<\/strong> Next<\/em>.<\/li>
          10. Click<\/strong> on Outbound Rules<\/em>.<\/li>
          11. Follow steps<\/strong> 3 \u2013 13<\/em>.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

            <\/a>Install Zoom Package<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
            1. Download<\/strong> the zoom-server-win64.zip\u00a0<\/em><\/span>from the Evolphin Support Portal<\/em><\/a> website.
              The download link was provided to you in a\u00a0Support Portal ticket. If you need the download link again, please\u00a0contact Evolphin Support.<\/div> <\/li>
            2. Open<\/strong> the zoom-server-win64.zip<\/em><\/span> file and navigate <\/strong>to the server folder.<\/li>
            3. Open<\/strong> setup.exe<\/em><\/span><\/li>
            4. Follow the instructions <\/strong>of the Zoom installer\u00a0wizard.<\/li>
            5. When prompted to restart the computer, select<\/strong> Yes<\/span>\u00a0<\/em>to restart the computer.<\/li>
            6. Once your computer has restarted and you are logged in, you should see\u00a0the web browser window with the Zoom Web Management Console<\/span> open. If\u00a0the web browser is not open, navigate<\/strong> to\u00a0http:\/\/localhost:8443.<\/em><\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

              Zoom has various services for its MAM, Preview, Curator, and HADR Servers. You may use one or more of these on the servers for Zoom. If multiple services are running on a server then it is recommended to follow an order while starting, restarting, or stopping them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

              The recommended order to start\/restart services<\/span> is:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

              1. Zoom HADR Service – for Zoom NonStop Servers<\/li>
              2. Zoom Services – for Zoom MAM Server and Zoom NonStop Servers<\/li>
              3. Zoom Preview Service – for Preview Server, Transcoder, Ingest Server<\/li>
              4. Zoom Curator Service – for Curator Server<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

                Stop the services in the reverse order.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

                The following instructions describe how to safely stop and start Zoom Services on Windows Server 2008 and 2012.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

                Start (or Restart) services<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

                Follow these steps to start<\/span>  or restart<\/span> services for any server running Zoom:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

                1. Go to<\/strong> Start > Administrative Tools > Services<\/span><\/li>
                2. In the list of Services<\/em><\/span>, find<\/strong> the services for Zoom that you would like to start or restart.<\/li>
                3. Right-click<\/strong> on each service as per the order mentioned above, and select <\/strong>Start (or Restart)<\/em><\/span>.
