These instructions assume you have downloaded the <code class=\"\">zoom-server-win64.zip<\/code>&nbsp;from the <a href=\"http:\/\/support.evolphin.com\">Zoom Support Center<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>In <span class=\"keyword\">Windows\u00a0Services<\/span>, <span class=\"command\">restart<\/span>\u00a0the <span class=\"keyword\">Zoom Server\u00a0<\/span>service. <div class=\"note\">For information on how to restart \/ stop, refer to\u00a0<span data-post-id=\"490\" class=\"insert-page insert-page-490 \"><a href=\"https:\/\/evolphin.com\/help\/administration-server\/starting-and-stopping-zoom-services-windows\/\">Starting and Stopping Zoom Services (Windows)<\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/span>.<\/div><\/li><li>Wait till the checkpoint gets completed. If there is a lot of data to be checkpointed, it will take some time to complete. Checkpointing is complete when the Zoom Web Management Console (ex: zmserver:8443) becomes accessible. Alternatively, you can check the server_log and see that the \u201ccheckpoint started\u201d and \u201ccheckpoint ended\u201d messages appear in the entries after a restart.<\/li><li>In <span class=\"keyword\">Windows\u00a0Services<\/span>, <span class=\"command\">stop<\/span>\u00a0the <span class=\"keyword\">Zoom Server<\/span>\u00a0and <span class=\"keyword\">Zoom Preview Server<\/span>\u00a0services.<\/li><li><span class=\"command\">Navigate<\/span> to the Zoom install directory\u00a0<code class=\"\"><em>[DAM]<\/em><\/code>. <div class=\"note\">On\u00a0Windows, this is located in<code class=\"\"><em> C:\\Program Files (x86)\\Evolphin\\DAM<\/em><\/code>.<\/div><\/li><li><span class=\"command\">Copy<\/span> or <span class=\"command\">backup<\/span> the <code class=\"\">conf<\/code><em>\u00a0<\/em>folder; Also copy the <code class=\"\">db<\/code> folder. <div class=\"note\">If your <code class=\"\">db<\/code>\u00a0folder is located outside the install directory\u00a0<code class=\"\">[DAM],<\/code> you do not need to back up the <code class=\"\">db<\/code>\u00a0folder.<\/div><\/li><li>If the <i>redo<\/i> location is different (not inside the <i>db<\/i> directory), then <strong>back up<\/strong> the redo folder. <ol style=\"list-style-type: lower-alpha;\"><li>The <i>redo<\/i> location is specified in the <span class=\"keyword\">&lt;dbspec> &lt;redoLogDir><\/span> xml tag inside the<span class=\"keyword\"> <i>server.xml<\/i><\/span> file in the <span class=\"keyword\"><i>conf<\/i><\/span> folder.<\/li><li>By default, the <i>redo<\/i> location is within the <i>db<\/i> folder itself. <\/li><\/ol><\/li><li><b>Copy<\/b> or <b>backup<\/b> the \u201c<span class=\"keyword\">webcontext\\servers\\PreviewServer\\cache<\/span>\u201d folder, if present, to outside the <i>DAM<\/i> folder.<\/li><li>Go to <span class=\"command\">Control Panel>Program and Features <\/span>and <span class=\"command\"> Uninstall <em> Evolphin Zoom<\/em><\/span>.<\/li><li><span class=\"command\">Follow the instructions<\/span> in the uninstall wizard.<\/li><li>After the restart, <strong>delete<\/strong> the following files from within the <code class=\"\">[DAM]\/webcontext\/<\/code><span class=\"keyword\">\u00a0<\/span>location: <ul><li><code class=\"\">[DAM]\/webcontext\/servers\/ZoomServer<\/code><\/li><li><code class=\"\">[DAM]\/webcontext\/servers\/vabweb<\/code><\/li><li><code class=\"\">[DAM]\/webcontext\/servers\/PreviewServer\/jsp<\/code><\/li><li><code class=\"\">[DAM]\/webcontext\/servers\/PreviewServer\/webapp<\/code> <\/li><\/ul><\/li><li><span class=\"command\">Unzip<\/span> the <code class=\"\">zoom-server-win64.zip<\/code> downloaded from the <a href=\"http:\/\/support.evolphin.com\">Zoom Support\u00a0Center<\/a>.<\/li><li>Once unzipped, <span class=\"command\">navigate<\/span> to the <code class=\"\"><em>setup.exe<\/em><\/code>\u00a0and double click it.<\/li><li><span class=\"command\">Follow the instructions<\/span> for the Zoom installer.<\/li><li><span class=\"command\">Restart<\/span> your computer. <div class=\"note\">When your computer restarts, the service will start automatically on launch. Go to your Services and <span class=\"command\">stop<\/span> the Zoom Server and Zoom Preview Server services prior to continuing.<\/div><\/li><li><span class=\"command\">Copy<\/span> all files\/folders from backup <code class=\"\">conf\/<\/code> , db, and redo folders and replace them in new <em><code class=\"\">[DAM]\/conf\/<\/code><\/em> and other respective folders<em>. <\/em> <div class=\"note\">Make sure to manually copy all files\/folders from backup\u00a0<code class=\"\">conf\/<\/code> and replace them in newly installed <code class=\"\">conf\/.<\/code> Don&#8217;t delete any file\/folder from the newly installed\u00a0<code class=\"\">conf\/.<\/code><\/div><div class=\"note\">For <span class=\"keyword\">Upgrade from 5.0 to 5.5 or greater<\/span>, copy only\u00a0<code class=\"\">zoom.key<\/code> from backup <code class=\"\">conf\/<\/code> and paste it in newly installed<code class=\"\">[DAM]\/Conf\/<\/code> directory. In case of user-specific changes in backup <code class=\"\">conf\/<\/code>, please manually do all the changes in the newly installed<code class=\"\">\u00a0[DAM]\/conf\/<\/code> directory.<\/div><\/li><li>Follow the link <a href=\"https:\/\/evolphin.com\/help\/docs\/v5\/server\/metadata\/metadata-migration\/\">Metadata Migration<\/a> to migrate the metadata.<\/li><li>Open <span class=\"command\"> preview-server.xml <\/span> from <code class=\"\"><em>[DAM]\/conf\/<\/em><\/code> and replace <span class=\"command\">localhost <\/span>with <span class=\"keyword\"><em>Server IP Address.<\/em><\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/evolphin.com\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/02\/preview-server2.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1289\" height=\"657\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-2630 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/evolphin.com\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/02\/preview-server2.png\" alt=\"preview-server\"><\/a> <div class=\"note\"><strong>If the Zoom Server and the Preview Server are running on different machines, then edit the preview-server.xml only on the machine where the Zoom Preview Server is running. <\/strong>Note that, the Server IP Address here refers to the Zoom Server machine&#8217;s IP address.<\/div><\/li><li>Open <span class=\"command\"> server.xml <\/span> from <code class=\"\"><em>[DAM]\/conf\/<\/em><\/code>\u00a0<span class=\"keyword\"><em>\u00a0<\/em><\/span><\/li><li>Search and identify the <code class=\"\">&lt;reviewserverspec><\/code> section.<\/li><li>Remove this entire tag &#8211; starting from <code class=\"\">\"&lt;reviewserverspec>\"<\/code> phrase and ending with <code class=\"\">\"&lt;\/reviewserverspec>\"<\/code><\/li><li>Copy in this place, the following XML snippet: <div class=\"json\" style=\"color: white; padding: 10px; font-size: 80%; background: #4b4d50;\">&lt;reviewserverspec> &lt;trackProgress>true&lt;\/trackProgress><br>\u00a0 \u00a0&lt;usePreviewForFileUpload>true&lt;\/usePreviewForFileUpload><br>\u00a0 \u00a0&lt;useSslForDesktopClient>false&lt;\/useSslForDesktopClient><br>\u00a0 \u00a0&lt;previewFileType>FLV&lt;\/previewFileType><br>\u00a0 \u00a0&lt;previewResolution>480&lt;\/previewResolution><br>\u00a0 \u00a0&lt;audioPreviewResolution>44100&lt;\/audioPreviewResolution><br>\u00a0 \u00a0&lt;generateHiResPreviews>false&lt;\/generateHiResPreviews><br>\u00a0 \u00a0&lt;imageHiRes>1920&lt;\/imageHiRes><br>\u00a0 \u00a0&lt;hiResThresholdSize>100&lt;\/hiResThresholdSize><br>\u00a0 \u00a0&lt;ServerConnection> \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 &lt;port>8873&lt;\/port><br>\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 &lt;sslPort>8013&lt;\/sslPort><br>\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 &lt;host>0.0.0.0&lt;\/host><br>\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 &lt;listenerHost>0.0.0.0&lt;\/listenerHost><br>\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 &lt;enableSsl>false&lt;\/enableSsl><br>\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 &lt;self>true&lt;\/self><br>\u00a0 \u00a0&lt;\/ServerConnection><br>&lt;\/reviewserverspec><\/div><\/li><li>Check the following screenshot to see what\u00a0this section would have been like before, and what it should look like after you have copied the snippet given above:<a href=\"https:\/\/evolphin.com\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/02\/befaft1.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1366\" height=\"441\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-2832 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/evolphin.com\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/02\/befaft1.png\" alt=\"befaft\"><\/a><\/li><li>Replace <span class=\"command\"> 0.0.0.0 <\/span> in <code class=\"\">&lt;host> <\/code>tag of the <code class=\"\">&lt;networkspec><\/code> and <code class=\"\">&lt;webserverspec><\/code> with the Zoom Server&#8217;s \u00a0IP Address.<\/li><li>The <code class=\"\">&lt;host><\/code> tag in the <code class=\"\">&lt;ServerConnection><\/code>\u00a0which is in the <code class=\"\">&lt;reviewserverspec><\/code> section must contain\u00a0the Zoom Preview Server IP address.<\/li><li>If the Zoom Server and the Preview Server are running on the same machine, all three tags will be pointing to the same address.<\/li><li>If Zoom Server and the Preview server are running on different machines, care must be taken to update these tags as indicated here. In that case, enter the IP addresses as shown here, on the <code class=\"\">server.xml<\/code> of both the machines. <figure><a href=\"https:\/\/evolphin.com\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/02\/server-xml2.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"722\" height=\"651\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-2676 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/evolphin.com\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/02\/server-xml2.png\" alt=\"server-xml\"><\/a><\/figure><\/li><li>The <code class=\"\">&lt;self><\/code> tag of the <code class=\"\">&lt;ServerConnection><\/code> must be set to true on the machine where the Preview Server is running.\u00a0Therefore, if both Zoom Server and Preview Server are running on the same machine, then in that server.xml, this tag must be set to true. If they are running on separate machines, then do the following: <ul><li>in the Zoom Server machine, set this tag to false<\/li><li>in the Preview Server machine, set this tag to true. <\/li><\/ul><\/li><li>If you had moved the <code class=\"\">db<\/code> folder out of the install directory in the beginning, move it back to the install directory now (overwriting newly created empty db folder).<\/li><li>In <span class=\"keyword\">Windows\u00a0Services<\/span>, <span class=\"command\">Start<\/span> the <span class=\"keyword\">Zoom Server<\/span>\u00a0and <span class=\"keyword\">Zoom Preview Server<\/span>\u00a0services.<\/li><li>Check the <span class=\"command\">Zoom Version<\/span>.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Zoom Server Upgrade From&nbsp;5.2 to 5.3<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Upgrade Instructions From&nbsp;5.2 to 5.3:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The following instructions describe how to upgrade a Zoom Server installed on Windows 7\/8.
