In\u00a0Zoom 5.2, the configuration\u00a0file for the Hot Folder<\/span> has been modified. Very few modifications have been made to the xml tags and so it is very easy to upgrade<\/span> the old xml file to the new one. The Hot Folder xml file named as hotFolderDB.xml<\/code>\u00a0contains all the hot folders and their respective settings which are created on the local machine. The file is located at the following locations:<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Windows<\/strong><\/td>\nC:\\Users\\username\\.zm\\settings\\hot_folder<\/code><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

Perform the following steps for a successful update of the hot folder xml file.<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Turn off Zoom Clientproxy.<\/li>\n
  2. Open hotFolderDB.xml<\/code> file to edit in any xml editor or text editor and perform the following:\n
      \n
    1. Search for the tag name <wcname>.<\/code> Rename both the start tag name and the end tag name with <project><\/code>\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/project>.<\/code>\n
      <project><\/strong>sample<\/project><\/strong> instead of <wcName><\/strong>sample<\/wcName><\/strong><\/div>\n<\/li>\n
    2. Add a new tag named\u00a0<advanceSettings><\/code> <\/strong>after the following tags <importTo>, <folderPath>, <syncEvery>, <timeUnit>.<\/code> Close the new tag before <hotFolderSettings><\/strong>.<\/code><\/li>\n
    3. If there were any\u00a0email id’s provided in the old hotFolderDB.xml,<\/code> then remove those email id’s from there and put inside <emailTo><\/code> tag in <advanceSettings><\/code> tag.<\/li>\n
    4. Save the xml file and you are all set.<\/li>\n
    5. Now you can restart clientproxy.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
