{"id":15355,"date":"2020-06-29T19:30:10","date_gmt":"2020-06-29T23:30:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/evolphin.com\/help\/?p=15355"},"modified":"2020-08-27T23:53:00","modified_gmt":"2020-08-28T03:53:00","slug":"faq-c3-hub","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/evolphin.com\/help\/administration-server\/hub\/hub-faq\/faq-c3-hub\/","title":{"rendered":"FAQ &#8211; Client Archive\/S3 Hub"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Issue: On MacOS the EJH Client Hub doesn&#8217;t start up<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>In some installations on MacOS Catalina+, the Hub&#8217;s client folder owner permissions gets configured as <em>root<\/em> causing the hub to not start up as the current logged-in user doesn&#8217;t have ownership of the folder:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<pre class=\"wp-block-code\"><code>$HOME\/Library\/Application Support\/Evolphin\/ejh<\/code><\/pre>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Resolution<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Using Terminal<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>If you are conversant with terminal commands, you can open up the Mac terminal app and fix it:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<pre class=\"wp-block-code\"><code>$ sudo chown -R ${USER}:staff $HOME\/Library\/Application\\ Support\/Evolphin\/ejh<\/code><\/pre>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Using the App<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>If you prefer to double click and run this app that automatically executes the above action, please <a href=\"\/\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/06\/Fix-Permissions-Hub.zip\">download and unzip this app<\/a> and then simply double click it.
