C3 stands for Client Cloud Connector. It is first configured on the Zoom Server and then the switch to enable C3 is turned on at the client end. Follow these steps to set up C3 in your Zoom setup:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Prerequisites<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Zoom Server 7.6.1 has been installed and configured.<\/li><li>Zoom VideoLX has been configured.<\/li><li>Zoom Client 7.6.1+ has been installed on the client machines marked for C3.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>After checking these requirements, follow these steps to continue:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><a href=\"#confHub\">Configure Hub on the Zoom Server<\/a><\/li><li><a href=\"#markHubUser\">For each client requiring C3, mark the corresponding Hub user on the Zoom Server<\/a><\/li><li><a href=\"#defZoomServer\">Set default Zoom Server on the client machines<\/a><\/li><li><a href=\"#propsClient\">Set a few zoom properties on the C3 client machines<\/a><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n<p><a name=\"confHub\"><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n<p><a name=\"confHub\"><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Configure Hub on the Zoom Server<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>By default, C3_HUB and Global are the two hubs that are present on the Zoom Server after installation. Global is the default server-side Hub and C3_Hub is used to route C3 data for Zoom Clients. You need to add details to these hubs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>In the Web Management Console,&nbsp;<strong>open<\/strong>&nbsp;the Hub Settings node under the System node in the Admin Menu sidebar. <strong>Open<\/strong>&nbsp;Hub Configuration Panel page.<\/li><li><strong>Open<\/strong> the default configuration for C3_Hub and update S3 Tier 2 under the Archive\/Restore Configuration tab. <strong>Specify<\/strong> the Bucket, Secret Key, Access Key, and Region details.<\/li><li>Similarly, <strong>open<\/strong> the default configuration for Global and update S3 Tier 2 under the Archive Restore Configuration tab. Also, <strong>update<\/strong> the TPM paths under Archive\/Restore Configuration.<\/li><li><strong>Update<\/strong> the port details if needed (if both Hubs are on the same machine) and optionally set up email notifications.<\/li><li>After making the necessary changes, <strong>click<\/strong> Save.<\/li><li>If no other changes are needed on the Zoom Server, then <strong>restart<\/strong> the server.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n<p><a name=\"markHubUser\"><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n<p><a name=\"markHubUser\"><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Mark Hub user on Zoom Server<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Each client machine that would use C3, needs to me marked as a Hub user on the Zoom Server.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>In the Web Management Console,&nbsp;<strong>open<\/strong>&nbsp;the Hub Settings node under the System node in the Admin Menu sidebar. <strong>Open<\/strong>&nbsp;Hub User Panel page.<\/li><li>From the users&#8217; list, <strong>select<\/strong> all users that need C3 (by pressing Ctrl key for multiple selections).<\/li><li>From the Hub User Operations menu, <strong>select<\/strong> Mark as Hub User.<\/li><li>If no other changes are needed on the Zoom Server, then <strong>restart<\/strong> the server.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n<p><a name=\"defZoomServer\"><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n<p><a name=\"defZoomServer\"><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Set default Zoom Server on client machines<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>On the Zoom Client machines that need to connect to the cloud, you should have set the default Zoom Server. This setting is used by the C3 engine to connect to that Zoom Server.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Check <span data-post-id=\"15337\" class=\"insert-page insert-page-15337 \"><a href=\"https:\/\/evolphin.com\/help\/using-zoom\/zoom-client\/configuring-default-zoom-server\/\">Configuring Default Zoom Server (Zoom 7.3+)<\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/span> to know about setting the default Zoom Server.<\/p>\n\n\n<p><a name=\"propsClient\"><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n<p><a name=\"propsClient\"><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Zoom properties for C3 client machines<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>On each Zoom Client machine that needs C3, make sure that a few zoom properties are set up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Open<\/strong>&nbsp;<em>zoom.properties<\/em>&nbsp;file from&nbsp;<em>$HOME\/.zm<\/em> for editing. For Example: &nbsp;\/Users\/joe\/.zm\/zoom.properties.<\/li><li><strong>Add\/update<\/strong> these properties:<ul><li>ENABLE_C3=true<\/li><li>SHOW_HUB_MENU_ITEM_ON_Z=true<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li><strong>Save<\/strong> the file.<\/li><li><strong>Restart<\/strong> the ClientProxy.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"note\">You can also update these properties on the Zoom Server to be synced with the Zoom Clients.
